Metal Ranger is a 2D shooter that captures the nostalgic essence of 1980s sci-fi action movies and games.
In this game, you assume the role of a powerful ranger clad in steel armor.
Your adversaries are massive mutated alien insects.
Equip yourself with a diverse array of lethal weapons, including an assault rifle, the M134 Minigun machine gun, a grenade launcher, a laser gun, a plasma gun, and a flamethrower.
Embark on missions, accumulate coins, and acquire armor and HP upgrades.
Begin your journey in the confines of a Martian factory compound, then traverse eerie subterranean industrial vaults and narrow metal walkways. Eventually, you'll find yourself amidst a futuristic city that exudes both retro and cyberpunk vibes. Along the way, you'll face formidable bosses such as an enormous armored slug, a colossal spider, and other fearsome monsters.
Neon signs, ethereal light halos, metal ramps, and walkways combine with a synthwave soundtrack to evoke the ambiance of that hallowed era of video games, amusement arcades, and VHS tapes.
